Pastor Richard Kofi Adjei was born in Nketia near Barekese in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. He lived in Nungua, Accra, for a few years and relocated to Toronto, Canada, in 1989. He has been a member of COP from birth and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at a tender age.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Information Systems and Finance from Ryerson University, Toronto. He also has a certificate in Project Management from Ryerson. He worked for BMO Bank of Montreal and Mckinsey & Company, a global management consulting company, for nine years in information technology before being called into full time ministry of the Church of Pentecost Canada in 2009.
He served as the church’s first National Youth Pastor from 2009-2015 and Administrative Manager at the National Head Office in Toronto from 2009-2014. He further served as District Pastor of PIWC North York from 2010-2012. He also served as the Edmonton District Pastor from August 2014 to 2018.
He is currently the Calgary District Pastor. He is a gifted teacher and administrator responsible for the following branches of the church: PIWC Calgary, Grace Hill Assembly (AKAN), Rockyview Assembly and Lethbridge Assembly.
Pastor Richard has served for many years on many ministries and committees of the church including various roles on the National Youth and Children’s Ministries as well as National Pentmedia (Publicity) Committee. He is currently the Secretary for Western Canada Area.
He holds a certificate in Theology from Pentecost University College, Accra, Ghana.
Pastor Richard Adjei is married to Gladys Boateng Adjei, a registered nurse, and is blessed with three children Nhyira Adjei, Elikplim Ayeyi Adjei, and Adoye Sifra Adjei. He enjoys reading, sports, and computers.
