Godliness can be explained as a total devotion to God that reflect in the life we live, to please Him.

But the fact is that we can’t live to please someone we don’t know. Therefore, the question is:  Do we really know this God we are serving?

Our knowledge of God should not be academic but experiential. 

Knowing God has an effect on our spirituality. 1st Peter 1: 2-3

And Jesus wants us to know him brethren. It is His heart desire. Matthew:16:13-14

The more you know him the more He reveals himself and his secrets to you. 

Philippians 3: 1-11. In this scripture Apostle Paul is still wanting to know God the more after all that we know Apostle Paul for, how much more US??? 2 Timothy 1:12. May we also know God to this extent where NOTHING CAN CHANGE OUR MIND.

It is true that man cannot understand God enough. But our desire to know him more will make him reveal himself to us the more. 

So, what’s is our motive any time we leave our home to the saints’ gathering (Church)? Taking for instance the woman with the blood issue. Before she left her house, she purposed it in her heart to have an encounter with Christ and it eventually happened. Hence what’s is our motive any time we also leave our various homes to church?

Let’s get to a point where we will yearn for Christ every single time to know him more. Because it is never enough knowing Him. 

In Exodus 33:17-23, Moses after all His encounter with God, still yearn to Know him more. Let’s also get to this point in our Christian journey.

How do we know Him (GOD) more

1. By believing in Him. Romans 10:10.
2. Through prayers and the study of His word.

May God bless us all and give us His grace that will make us yearn for nothing but KNOWING HIM MORE AND MORE. For in so doing we can continually uphold HIS VALUES!!!!
